Our new AoS port chaplain in Oshawa, Deacon Alban Soares is already active at the port, visiting the ships and serving the needs of the seafarers.

On April 26, he visited the ship Federal Welland which had 23 crew members. All were Indian, with four Catholics.

Deacon Alban gave them some rosaries. They asked to go to Walmart and then to an Indian restaurant, so he I drove them there.
